The controls

• Drag to pan, scroll to zoom, double-click to fit. Arrow keys step through the forecast; space plays it.
• The cursor readout is not a lookup — it inverts the pixel's colour back through the published colour table, so it works offline once a frame has loaded.
• ★ marks the products you will not find on other public forecast sites for Poland. Three are computed here — Inversion, Smog and Halny — and two are fields COSMO publishes that almost nobody draws: Supercell and the wet-bulb Snow line.
• Radar overlays the newest POLRAD composite on the same frame — useful for checking what the model has just done against what actually happened.

The four models

• COSMO 2.8 km — IMGW's own run. Hourly to T+48, then three-hourly to T+60. The only model here that resolves the Kłodzko valley or the Tatra ridge.
• ICON-EU 7 km — DWD's European nest, to five days.
• Met Office 10 km — an independent forecasting system, to seven days.
• ECMWF IFS 0.25° — coarse over Poland, and still the one worth reading on day eight.

Every model is drawn on the same frame and the same colour scales, so a difference on screen is a difference in the forecast. More →
